NZWEA can confirm the date for the 2022 Wind Energy Conference has now been rescheduled for Wednesday 24 August, after the original date of 11 May needed to be changed due to ongoing restrictions at the venue. Delegates have the option of attending the event at the InterContinental Hotel in Wellington in person, or joining online.

Should Covid19 restrictions prevent meeting in person the Conference will be held as a purely online event.

The momentum to progress the decarbonisation of the energy sector in support the Government’s net zero target is gathering. The theme for this year’s Conference is therefore Accelerating the Renewables Transformation, building on 2021’s theme of Rising to the Challenge.
