Chief Executive: Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart joined the New Zealand Wind Energy Association in April 2023.

Kevin has extensive experience in the energy sector and as a former NZWEA board member knows the wind industry and the Association extremely well. Kevin will continue to champion the key contribution wind energy makes in enabling the decarbonisation of the energy sector in support of the Government’s renewable energy and climate change targets. Kevin joins the Association from General Electric (GE) where he was Asia Pacific Regional Leader of GE Digital, and formerly CEO GE New Zealand. Kevin has been involved in the energy sector for over 35 years both domestically and internationally, having previously worked for French multi-national Alstom Grid, Power Systems Consultants and Transpower NZ Ltd
