Join NZWEA

The outlook for the wind industry is exciting as New Zealand transitions to a low-emissions economy with renewable electricity.  Join the New Zealand Wind Energy Association and be part of our growing industry which is widely recognised as key to decarbonising the energy sector. The benefits you receive as a member are many and vary depending on your membership level

Corporate Membership

Corporate membership is for organisations where wind is a core activity. Turbine manufacturers and large generators are expected to become corporate members.

Corporate membership enables these organisations to participate in the industry at a strategic level, helping to shape the NZ wind industry’s future.

The corporate membership fee is $6,500+GST ($7,475)

Associate Membership

Associate membership is for organisations that have wind as one part of their activities.

There are three categories of Associate membership:

  • Large associate - which is for organisations with more than 5 persons working in wind energy in New Zealand. The membership fee is $2,850+GST ($3,277.50).
  • Associate - which is for organisations with 5 or less persons working in wind energy in New Zealand. The membership fee is $1,900+GST ($2,185).
  • Associate member (NPO) - which is for not-for-profit organisations, territorial authorities and regional councils. The membership fee is $950+GST ($1,09.50).

Associate membership provides opportunities to actively participate in NZ's wind industry, including business development and networking.

Individual Membership

Individual membership is for people who are not engaged directly in a wind energy business and are not connected to a commercial company. It enables academics and representatives of community groups to learn about the wind industry and support its development.

The individual membership fee is $165+GST ($189.75)
