The NZWEA Health, Safety & Environment Working Group meets on a quarterly basis to traverse all matters relating to the health, safety and wellbeing of people in the wind energy sector.
On 27th November 2024, the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Working Group voted to appoint Bobby Ball, Renewable Sector Manager, Vertical Horizonz NZ, as the Chair of the HSE Working Group, which was subsequently endorsed by the NZWEA Board on 11 December. The CE and Board welcome Bobby Ball as Chair of the HSE Working Group for a 2-year term.

To assess the priorities and objectives of the HSE Working Group, the Chair led the group through an Appreciative Inquiry process on the 25th March. The outcomes from that process can be viewed here.
