http://www.ucol.ac.nz
Established in 1902, UCOL is a high-performing New Zealand government funded Institute of Technology and Polytechnic in the lower North Island. With campuses in Palmerston North, Whanganui, Wairarapa and Auckland, and delivery locations in Horowhenua and Taumarunui, as well as online, UCOL is proud of the contribution graduates make each day to communities in New Zealand and offshore.

UCOL exists to inspire students, businesses and communities to succeed. Lecturers have a relationships-based approach to teaching, within a supportive environment.  Students learn from staff who care about the success of UCOL and their students, and who are dual-professionals – teachers as well as experts in their fields.

UCOL is supportive of sustainable energy initiatives and the Regions which UCOL call home are known for their wind farms. UCOL is keen to explore qualifications at a national level that support sustainable energy. UCOL’s programmes provide highly practical and useful skills-based training targeted to meet industry and employer needs.
