Goldwind Australia, a wholly owned subsidiary, was established in 2009 to serve the Australian, NZ and regional wind power markets. Goldwind's expertise includes wind turbine supply, wind farm investment with financial solutions, project management services and O&M.
Goldwind’s first project in Australia, Mortons Lane Wind Farm in Western Victoria, was connected to the grid in late 2012 and is now owned by CGN. Mortons Lane has 13 Goldwind 82/1.5 PMDD wind turbines. Goldwind’s second project, Gullen Range Wind Farm, in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales is currently under construction, with commissioning planned for early 2014. This projects consists of 17 Goldwind 82/1.5 MW 56 Goldwin 2.5 MW PMDD turbines, totally 165.5 MW, Goldwind’s largest project outside China.
