White Hill Wind Farm
White Hill is Meridian Energy’s second wind farm development and the first wind farm in the South Island. It is six kilometres south-east of Mossburn in Southland. The wind farm site is about eight kilometres by three kilometres. It has 29 2MW turbines.
White Hill wind farm was officially opened, and started generating electricity, on 8 June 2007.
