Tararua Wind Farm
- Stage 1 & 2
The Tararua wind farm consists of two phased developments known as Tararua I and Tararua II. Tararua I has a capacity of 31.7 MW and was opened in 1999. Tararua II was opened in 2004 and adds a further 36.3 MW to the installed capacity at the site. The following photos are a mix of those taken before and after Tararua II was opened although those showing construction and cable laying are of Tararua II.
