Hau Nui Wind Farm
This wind farm actually consists of two stages. Hau Nui I was has a capacity of 3.5 MW and was opened in 1997. Hau Nui II consists of a further 8 turbines and, when these are fully operational in late 2004 or early 2005, they will contribute an additional 5.3 MW of capacity to the site for combined total of 8.8 MW.
