Hau Nui wind farm - getting there

We do not yet have a map showing the location of the Hau Nui wind farm - however the following directions should enable you to get to the wind farm viewing area outside Martinborough.

The wind farm is 15-20km from Martinborough and is signposted from there.

Leave Martinborough's central square heading SW to Dyerville.
Turn left about 1.5km from Martinborough. There is a galvanised iron barn opposite the turnoff and White Rock Road and the wind farm are signposted.
Follow White Rock Road for about 15km and then turn right into Range Road.
Hau Nui is on your right several kilometres up this road. You cannot access the wind farm itself, but there is a viewing platform and information displays about 300m from the nearest turbine.
